Robert (Bob) Mitchell

Bob has experience in the fields of land surveying and civil engineering that covers a 30 year time span. Being entrenched in a family-owned engineering and surveying business, he began his career while still a teenager. Bob’s specialty is hydrology and hydraulics, commercial developments, and residential developments. He has a proven design/build record of successful implementation of a variety of projects in the Central Texas area, and is adept in performing all phases of planning and design.
Bob holds a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from the University of Texas at Arlington, and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M University. He is also a member of the Texas Society of Professional Engineers (TSPE), National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE), Texas Society of Professional Surveyors (TSPS), and American Water Works Association (AWWA).
Lampasas Branch Manager
Mike has over 35 years of solid experience in the civil engineering and surveying fields. Drawing on over three decades of experience, he balances project management, client relations, and business development. Mike’s experience as a Professional Engineer includes general civil design for subdivisions, commercial site development, and municipal engineering projects, including planning, water, wastewater, drainage, and transportation aspects. As a Registered Professional Land Surveyor, he has extensive experience at all levels of land boundary, commercial, residential, government, and municipal survey projects in Texas.
Mike, who manages our Lampasas office under Goodson Surveyors, holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M University, Class of 1980. He is also a member of the Texas Society of Professional Surveyors (TSPS), sits on the Board of Directors for Families in Crisis (FIC) in Killeen, Texas, the Board of Directors for the Lampasas Central Appraisal District, and currently serves as the Chairman of his church.
